Turmeric is a striking yellow-orange root (rhizome) that has been used in India for thousands of years, both as a botanical agent that supports robust health and as an aromatic spice in foods.

One of the main keys to turmeric’s nutritional benefits has been shown to be its high concentration of natural compounds known as curcuminoids. Curcuminoids are naturally occurring phenols in turmeric that are responsible for its yellow-orange color.

We do not specify a particular amount of curcumin, the primary curcuminoid, in this product or assay for it. Concentration will vary per batch due to various factors, such as time of harvest.
